Happy Earth Day!

We would like to recognize the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Keeping the environment in mind… there does not always seem a simple solution for every individual to change behaviors. However, we would like to recognize that small changes we make daily can amass great positive impact over time. A few ways we, at Atlas, are contributing to keeping the environment in mind are by converting to electronic delivery of this newsletter, and other correspondence when we can, and using The Atlas Client Portal for communication and maintaining multi sort recycling bins located throughout our Albany office.

Atlas readers, we are looking for you!

Atlas is excited to announce a new program to clients and community members. Avid literature lover & team member, Sunday Frost, will be hosting a book club. If you are interested in joining us, please reach out to sfrost@atlaspwm.com for more information. During this time of social distancing, a virtual book club will be offered.

WINTER TEAM BUILDING –

Amazing Race to Recovery

This past January Atlas’ team members Loni, Sara, Suzanne, and Kate participated in the Amazing Race to Recovery. The Amazing Race to Recovery hosted by the Colonie-Guilderland Rotary Club, hosted an event to support Second Chance Opportunities, Inc. Second Chance Opportunities is a community recovery center located in Albany, its’ focus is to create a safe space where people in recovery from substance abuse disorders, can go to for rehabilitation resources. Resources include assistance in finding gainful employment, looking for housing and learning or re-learning general life skills. While assisting in these life moments, this organization also works to make the experience fun and uses social programming to make transitions enjoyable to participants. The event included various mental and physical obstacles using clever clues to guide participants to the end. For more information, please visit https://www.amazingracetorecovery.org/
