Summer is here! As we enjoy these warmer months Atlas team members have enjoyed lacing up their sneakers and joining in on some local events supporting causes within the Capital Region.

CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge

On May 19th, Atlas team members met at the Empire State Plaza to join other runners, joggers, and walkers in the CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge. Funds raised for this walk went towards supporting the 2022 Charity of Choice: Oakwood Community Center. The mission of Oakwood Community Center is to bring neighbors together and build bridges among grassroots organizations in the city of Troy, New York.

Best Buddies Friendship Walk

Atlas team members and family walked around Crossgates Mall to support Best Buddies Friendship Walk. Best Buddies primary goal is to allow volunteers to be paired up with a buddy with an intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) and provide them with a friend or a mentor. Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical, and economic isolation of the 200 million people with IDD.
