Uncertainty abounds from all corners of our nation as we see events play out on the world stage. At Atlas, we remain committed to diversity, education, and the continued pursuit of equality in the justice system. We support the eradication of systemic racism. The recent events have fanned embers that have spurred surges in protests and unrest.  We are taking this time to reflect, understand, and continue to educate ourselves.

Separately, we have been dedicated to maintaining business operations as usual. Our onsite presence, in our Albany, New York office, was reduced and many of our associates continue to assist you from remote locations. Much of this was made possible by the significant investments we made as a firm over the last few years. Technology upgrades, to leverage cloud-based applications and enhanced cybersecurity, have made a substantial difference in avoiding service disruption, and allowed us to maintain the client experience to which you are accustomed.

We have been incorporating new ways to communicate with clients. Many of our traditional client meetings have been held using video conferencing applications like Zoom. While we continue to navigate this new normal, if you would like to arrange a “virtual face-to-face” meeting using this tool, please let your advisor know. Our normal means of communication by phone is still an option and reception will connect you with your wealth management advisor as if we were all working in the office.

As individual states begin to open up their respective businesses, we will be returning to a more normal setting. Atlas has formed a safety committee to develop and implement an effective plan to return to the office. In conjunction with the New York State and CDC guidelines, we plan to reintroduce our associates to a clean and safe environment, in phases, using additional safety measures. Following this, will be a gradual re-opening to clients who would like to meet in our office. Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable place for our clients and associates in a realistic and timely fashion. In the meantime, if you have any questions about access to your wealth management advisory team or about exchanging documents, please speak with your advisor.

We wish you and your loved ones the best as our nation begins the process to heal economically, socially, spiritually, and physically.

Stay safe and healthy,
