Robert is a Wealth Management Advisor and the Director of Financial Planning at Atlas Private Wealth Management. He is a financial planner with over twenty years of experience assisting individuals in retirement and cash flow planning, investment management, and tax planning.
As a Wealth Management Advisor, Robert’s primary responsibility is to assist his clients in the pursuit of their financial goals. Robert examines their unique situation and provides comprehensive financial planning recommendations. This approach focuses on investment management, the accumulation and distribution phases
of retirement planning, as well as risk management and estate planning. Additionally, as Director of Financial Planning, Robert oversees and manages the Atlas Financial Planning Department.
Prior to joining Atlas, Robert spent seventeen years with Ayco, a Goldman Sachs Company. While at Ayco, Robert traveled extensively, conducting financial education workshops and providing comprehensive financial planning advice to Fortune 500 corporate executives and employees throughout the United States.
Robert earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the State University of New York at Brockport. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, as well as a RETIREMENT INCOME CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL®.
A life-long resident of the Capital Region, Robert is an active volunteer in the community. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his wife, Linda.

(CFP Board) owns the CFP® certification mark, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification mark, and the CFP® certification mark (with plaque design) logo in the United States, which it authorizes use of by individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
The Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation is the property of the American College of Financial Services, which reserves sole rights to its use, and is used by permission. Candidates for the RICP designation must meet experience requirements, and complete three required courses and an exam for each course. They must complete ongoing continuing education requirements and abide by The American College of Financial Services Ethics and procedures.
