Spring is in the air…

The colors of Spring are becoming more and more prevalent as ice melts in the Northeast and temperatures slowly climb. As we welcome warmer temperatures we are also enjoying the increase of in person client meetings.

As we come off the heels of Women’s History Month we are reminded of how far we have come as a country and all the work we have yet to do. The first quarter of the year holds the start of the new year, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, and Black History Month.

While we all continue to set our intentions for the year as it progresses we would like to remind you that while charitable distributions are great, there are so many ways to support a cause you hold dear. Ways to support include liking a friend’s small business on social media, sharing their most recent promotion every now and again, or shopping their offerings when your budget allows. At Atlas, we were able to support a local baker and small business owner who is both a minority and a woman. We ordered cakes from them for our associates to enjoy a sweet afternoon pick-me-up. For more information on this small business you can visit them on GreatExbaketations | Etsy

Presenters shared tips on best practices when interviewing and common pitfalls while job hunting. “I enjoy giving people who don’t have experience in the workforce knowledge that they can use to better leverage their talents and present their best foot forward as they find their way.”
