EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR CLIENTS

Client Event at the Times Union’s Hearst Media Center:
Navigating the College Admissions Process Without Jeopardizing Your Retirement

On September 26th, Atlas hosted a client event titled “Navigating the College Admissions Process Without Jeopardizing Your Retirement.” Atlas team members, Robert Palmer, CFP®, and David Ralph, CPA, led the presentation. They were followed by our guest speaker, Dr. Dean Skarlis, the president and founder of The College Advisor of New York.

Atlas’ clients and friends learned about the ongoing challenges of higher education acceptance and affordability while balancing the need to save for retirement. Saving options were discussed along with important factors for families to consider as they select colleges and plan for the future of their students. Atlas felt very fortunate to be able to partner with Dr. Skarlis and benefit from his insight and expertise.

Atlas will continue to bring this information to clients, their families, and friends in a live webinar on October 30th. The webinar will also be recorded and posted on our website (atlaspwm.com) in early November.

If your family is approaching this life stage or you anticipate a friend or family member could benefit from this information, speak to your Atlas Wealth Management Advisor. Planning for this future expense while balancing your retirement needs can make a big difference.

Save the Date: Year-End Tax Planning Webinar on December 5th at 2 p.m. ET.

Listen in as Brendan Walsh provides year-end tax planning guidance that incorporates some of the latest tax law changes. More details on the webinar and how to register will be released in an email to Atlas clients in November.

The mission of PopCares Inc is to ensure that every cancer patient in the Northern Berkshire/Southern Vermont region has the opportunity to benefit from that same level of support.
